  AAC bit depth

  I need help. I want to record audio with my ZOOM H1 in same way as my camera so I could easily sync audio tracks later in Sony Vegas. I shot some video and tried to find audio properties with MediaInfo. But it shows only that my audio is 48.0 kHz. It doesnt show bit depth though. How do I find it cause I need to know which to choose on my ZOOM H1 – 48/16 or 48/24? How do I do that if MediaInfo does not show bit depth? 🙁

  Very few cameras record 24 bit audio so you can safely use 48/16 on your Zoom recorder.
  To be 100% sure though, load any camera footage info Vegas, switch the view setting in your Project Media tab to Detailed and scroll over to the Bit Depth column.

  

  p.s. some folks on here don’t like going to different sites to view an image, especially when you can upload here using the image upload tools that Creative Cow gives you.
