  Masking a bright light

  I have a clip of a pianist with a bright light behind shining directly into the camera and with some flare. Any ideas on how I can diminish its brightness? With minimal effect on the rest of the scene? It is inside the frame so I can’t crop it out.

  There are options I can think of, but it all depends on how intrusive the light is. Give us some screengrabs.
