  Vegas Pro 10e – Closed Captioning Question

  Hello!

  My apologies if I am posting in the wrong forum.

  I need to export my 1920×1080 video w/ CC to MP4, to play out on a monitor (via USB stick) —- is there a way to do that?

  No. Closed Captioning is a Broadcast format. Vegas Pro supports closed captioning embedded in XDCAM HD/XDCAM HD422 MXF and MPEG-2 files. You can’t imbed closed captions in an MP4 file.

  What you can do is add media captions to a WMV file but those are not “closed” captions. Search the Vegas Pro help file for “Captioning Windows Media files”.
