sound volume control
My sister has a mac and she can bend the sound volume up and down like a sine wave. It looks like this is not possible in sony vegas platinum 11. I would like to gradually lower music soundtrack for a few seconds during voice conversation on the main audio track. is this easily done?

I use Vegas Pro but I’m pretty sure Platinum has the volume envelope feature. Click the audio track to highlight it and press the v key. This will show a thin blue line that you double click to add points to, two at the beginning and two at the end of the desired section. Once the points are there, place your cursor on the line between points 2 and 3 and drag it down to the desired level. You can also right click on a specific point and enter in the desired level.
