Hey guys, I’m wandering whether it’s possible to loop the animation in a precomp or an imported video. I know that either one will only last for as long as the layer is visible, but I would like to know an alternative method to duplicating many copies of the same footage/precomp.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

The way Craig pointed to loops unrendered comps … you also mentioned imported footage … you can loop imported footage that way or in the interpret footage window … down at the bottom, there’s a box to type in the number of times you want footage to loop … that way, it’s looped to that extent anywhere you use it in the project without needing to re-apply that expression each time.
