Posted by Stefan Karos on April 30, 2013 at 8:00 pmI want to combine every 10 frames into one frame. Basically make a multiple exposure image out of every 10 frames. Is this possible?

Slice the video into events that are 1 frame each, stack 10 events on tracks above each other, set the track opacity (level) on each to 50%.
Alternately, render the video as an image sequence, stack 10 images on top of each other with opacity 50%.

May 4, 2013 at 12:54 pmtnx for helping me. i did export the video into individual jpgs and then used imagemagick to combine subgroups of frames. when you have 1000s of frames, a scripted way of doing this is key. I dont know about the event slicing process though-can that be automated? it seems that it would be faster since i wouldnt need to leave vegas.

It could be automated with a script but you would have to know how to program to in order to wrote the script. I don’t think you’ll find a script that will stack 10 frames on top of each other with opacity so this would have to be custom written and rather single purpose.
