From Sony Vegas Studio HD Platinum 10.0 I have rendered my project using MainConcept MPEG-2, template Blu-ray 1920x1080x50i 25Mbps.

The result file is 21.4 GB.

When I make BD from DVD Architect Studio 5.0 the video is recompressed although there is enough space on the BD. Why?

The compressed video size will be around 8.5 GB. It is a big different between 21.4 GB and 8.5 GB. And I Guess the recompression will give lower quality.

The default video bit rate is 18 Mbps. What should this be? Should it 25 Mbps as the rendered video.

If I set the default video bit rate to 25Mbps, the video is still compressed again. This time the video size will be around 11 GB.

How can I generate a BD With best quality, that will play on every BD players.

    Kind Regards
    Morten
