    So, I’m doing a video and I’m trying to get these two characters onto a different background by masking them out frame-by-frame for a small sequence. I masked out the first frame but the characters were overlapping, so I wound up making one huge mask.

    For subsequent frames, the characters aren’t touching. Is it possible to split the mask down the middle to save me some work, or do I have to remask the whole thing with separate masks on both of them?
