When I import videos shot from my Lumia 900, only the
first 1.5 secs of audio show up.. Everything else is muted.. Older videos shot with my Samsung Focus are fine..

The Explorer shows the stats for the video as:

    Video: 1280x720x12, 120.000fps progressive, 00:01:45;18, AVC
Audio: 48.000 Hz, Stereo, 00:01:45;18, AAC

According to the specs on the Nokia site, that camera shoots 30fps. The fact that explorer think’s it’s shooting at 120fps might be part of the problem. I’m not sure what you can do about that but the video coming from that camera seems to be messed up. I would complain to Nokia and ask them what software they recommend you use to edit the video files form that camera.

Thanks John (wow, what a fast response!),

I think you are correct.. I notice it works fine in Adobe Premier and After Effects, and they both read that it is 23.976fps.. In fact, if I right-click the file and get properties, it is also shown as 24fps..

I’m not sure why Vegas is reading the FPS wrong, but is there a way to force it to see 24fps?

Not that I know of. The frame rate is one thing you can’t change in Vegas. It also has trouble with video from my iPhone 4S. Vegas sees it as 24.010 fps while Premiere Pro sees it as 24.00 fps. I don’t know why. 🙁
