  • Options after making DVD

I should know this by now in my few short years of editing but have not had to experience it yet.

Here’s my scenario: I’ve completed my project in VP10, rendered, created my DVDA file with chapter markers, menu screens, backgrounds, etc. Make my DVD and after review there is some changes I want to make to a few scenes.

After I make the changes in VP10, what are my options in DVDA to pull the new rendered project in without having to recreate the menu screens and other characteristics of the DVD project?

Do I just open the original DVDA file, delete the video on the timeline, then pull the new one in? Will all my attributes still be the same from the previous DVDA project I created?

Render to the same filename and DVD Architect will pick up the new file the next time you open it.

You will loose your chapter menus if you do this (unless you don’t have chapter menus). Just render the file to the same name and DVD Architect will pick up the changes.
