Convert from 29.975fps to 25fps. BLURRY RESULT….
Hi everyone!
New COW user here… I’ve just finished editing a music video which was shot with Sony’s Handycam HDRCX115e. I shot at 1920x1080i and didn’t de-interlace prior to editing. I’m new to video u see and only found out post editing that interlaced footage poses numerous problems when compared to progressive footage. It’s been said de-interlacing prior to editing might be best practice for my kind of footage.
Anyway, ( forgive my rambling). My problem now is, I need to send the video to one of our TV partners in France for their playlist and they want me to convert it from 1920 x1080 at 29.975fps (NTSC) to their acceptable specs: resolution greater than or equal to 1200×768 but far more pressing, they want it at 25fps (PAL).
WHEN I EXPORT THE VIDEO FROM SONY VEGAS AND CHOSE 25fps as FRAME RATE, I GET A LOWER QUALITY VIDEO WITH NOTICEABLE BLUR WHEN THE SUBJECT MOVES. I can’t submit it that way.
Could anyone offer advise on how to go about exporting the video in 25fps without diminishing the quality so much? I’m open to any options as I’m quite desperate now.
Thanks all
