  Vegas 9.0 crashes on all Pre-Rendering

  I’m learning Vegas 9, and have had no problems rendering complex edits and effects to DVD and Hi Def to Blu-Ray. But now I’m trying to pre-render sections on the timeline (“Selectively pre-render” set to .avi, using HD 1080-60i YUV as the template). My video for the project is HD 1080-60i (1920×1080, 29.970 fps). The whole project renders and burns to disc perfectly, but even the smallest pre-render ends by saying “Sony Vegas has stopped working,” and the program crashes. Any help would be most appreciated!
