Weak washed out color
I don’t seem to find anything in Sony Vegas 9 premium help that fits. I have a lot of weak washed out video because of the old 8 mm film it came from. Is there anything in this version that will allow me to enhance color and contrast?
I would like to say that now that I am learning a little about vegas I am really pleased with what I can do. Now if I can learn more I will be that much happier I am sure… You get too soon old and too late smart. Have a good day.

The Levels filter will allow you to bring the blacks back down to where they should be. Color Curves will allow you to add further contrast. Use Color Corrector for adding saturation and balancing the colors.

You might want to invest in some professional training. We have Vegas Movie Studio HD 10 Training that will probably make you a whole lot more productive.
