  Tip of the Day…just discovered Audio Restoration

  Just used the ExpressFX Audio Restoration function in Vegas 10. Did a *great* job on reducing hiss and extraneous noise on my footage that was shot on a boat, run and gun style, with a shotgun mic. I set the restoration via the ‘noise floor’ function, and moved it to -40db. It just wiped out the hiss and floor with no muss and fuss. Copy and pasted the attribute into any and all the affected tracks. Worked like a charm.

  I’ll try and make some before and after comparisons when I get done with this week’s work. Lots to do and many miles before I sleep.
