  How to render in full screen?

  I tried rendering in HD, 1280X720, but my laptop can’t handle it. I tried lowering it to good quality, but it still didn’t work. Is there any other way I could render a video in full screen without necessarily being of exceptional quality? I just don’t wanna get those ugly side black bars when posting the video on youtube.

  If your rendering as 1280 x 720 (16 x 9) and get black pillar bars on the sides, your camera isn’t shooting HD. If it’s a SD camera,
  (4 x 3) rendering to a HD format won’t increase the quality and you will get the pillar bars. What make and model and speed is the computer your working with?

  Hmm I’m using a Toshiba laptop, Windows 7, 32-bit, 3 GB RAM and I don’t know anything else I can tell you about the computer 😐
  I’m not sure if you got it right, I’m not trying to edit footage I recorded with my camera, they’re just general clips from the internet & pics. Also, no I didn’t render in 1280×720 and got the black bars, I was saying that when I DON’T render in 1280X720 I get those bars. When I render in 1280×720 it works, there are no bars showing up, but vegas gives me an error saying the system is low on memory when I try to render in HD, so I can’t use that method any more. I wanted to know if there was any other way I could get the full screen without using up too much RAM during the rendering.
