  Very strange latency/ASIO (?) behaviour

  First the specs :

  Focusrite Saffire PRO14
  Windows 7 64bit (Firewire Legacy driver as recommended by Focusrite)
  Sony Vegas Pro 10c

  Let me explain the strange behaviour on an example :

  I load/start a project (Audio Preferences have the Saffire selected with track buffering ON). After a couple clicks of working (within a minute or two!) a lag appears. as I press play the timeline jumps a couple frames ahead and plays from there with video/audio out of sync. A minute later the latency reaches up to 4 seconds and more!
  So I go to Preferences, turn track buffering OFF and the delay disappears. Until I work for another 2-3 minutes and again as I push play the playback starts 5 seconds ahead of the timeline position with audio/video out of sync.

  I couldn`t find an answer to this ANYWHERE on the net. I`ve contacted Sony and Focusrite and I`m waiting for their replies.

  PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME!
