  Putting images in your video.

  WARNING: The video I am linking for an example of what I’m looking to do is NSFW. Viewers should be 18+.
  Okay, so I want to put a giant smiley face over myself as somewhat of a mask, if you will. How would I go about doing so? It seems as though the white borders from the images stay there, and I am unsure how to make it to when it is just the face. Someone please assist me.   I did not watch the video. However, if you are using an image, you will want to find a .png that has an alpha channel or a .gif file that has a transparent background that has the smiley face you want.

  You can open up most decent image editors and make the background transparent yourself. That is a job that you should do in an image editor and not Vegas. Once done, add the image to the timeline and keyframe it to follow your head or whatever you are wanting it to cover. You can do this using the pan/crop feature.
