  Vegas Pro Upgrade Question

  I am currently on Vegas Pro 8.1. Vegas 10 is due out in September and I am having problems with 8.1 on my new 64 bit PC. Should I upgrade now ($239) or wait for 10 to be released? What is the normal pricing structure on upgrades? When 10 comes out in a month would it be $239 now plus $239 then to upgrade twice?

  Call Sony and ask them if they will give you a grandfather deal. They did it once on Sound Forge. They might do it again.

  Other than that, it depends on whether you do this for a living (upgrade), or if you are a hobbyist (up to you).
