  No Sound

  Hi, I’m making a simple and short family holiday movie in Vegas Pro 9 importing clips shot on my Canon HV30. I want to supplement my video with some HD avi clips d/l from YouTube.
  When I play the YouTube clips on my PC the audio is as it should be however when I import these clips into Vegas there is no audio, either in preview or when dropped into the time line. The audio on my own clips works fine.
  Am I missing something here?

  1. What format are you downloading from Youtube? .MP4 should be using AAC audio which is usable in Vegas.
  2. You could try trans-coding the audio to a .wav or .MP3 file in another program, then add it to the timeline.
