  After Effects on a G5

  Hey I was just wondering if anyone currently has the CS4 of After Effects running on their Power Mac 2×2.5 GHz (dual-core) and if so what kind of video card are you using?

  I’m aware that I need to max out the ram, but just wanted to err on the side of caution before making the investment.

  adobe didn’t make a cs4 version for g5/powerpc processors. so you’ll have to stick with cs3.

  and i don’t think opengl acceleration worked in cs3 on g5s (but i’d have to look that up on cs3 opengl requirements) so there may be no reason to update the graphics card for after effects cs3.
