I don’t know if this has been asked and answered before so let me give it a go!
I am thinking of uprating my Windows XP 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit (my PC will take 64 bit). I am running Sony Vegas Pro 9 32 bit (But will upgrade to 8.1 64 bit as well).
Now the reason for this inquiry, will my DVD Architect Pro 5.0 run on a 64 bit PC, or is there such a thing as a 64 bit DVD Architect Pro?

CPU: Intel core 2 quad Q6600 CPU
    Memory: 4 GB Ram DDR2
    Motherboard: Asus P5QC
HDD: 1 x 500G Seagate SATAII and 250G Seagate SATAII

I hope someone can answer this compatibility question.

Yes, DVDA 5.0 runs under Windows 7 64bit.

Why do you want to ‘upgrade’ from 32bits Vegas 9 pro to 64bits Vegas 8.1 Pro? If you have purchased Vegas 9 pro, you can download the 64 bits version of Vegas pro 9 for free

Sorry Tho, I must have been half asleep when I wrote this message. Ignore the reference to Vegas 8.1 64 bit as it should have read Vegas 9.0c 64 bit, as you so rightly pointed out.

I have been reluctant to purchase Windows 7 64 bit (Not Windows 7 per se) because the computer shop where I usually get my stuff was a little reluctant as well to recommend it, something to do with compatibility.

Anyway, thanks for the reply, I’m off to talk to the shop tomorrow and purchase the 64 bit model.
