Sony Architect Studio 4.5
I’d like to start a looping video as soon as the user loads the DVD and then have a button appear after a set time which links to a menu with several media choices when activated by the user. Sounds simple but I can’t make it work Can you help?

Use the INSERT INTRODUCTION MEDIA button in the PROJECT OVERVIEW window:

I cannot find a Loop command in the Introductory Media Properties window, so the program links to the next menu when the Introductory Media ends.
I’d prefer to give the user a button to move to the next menu when ready, but buttons are not available also.
Is there another way?

You can first play the inroduction media, link it to the first menu and use the same introduction media as background for the menu. So this introduction media will loop while a button appears only in the second round. This biutton can link toa second menu with choises for all the video content. If I understand you well, this is what you would like to make.

Yes, you understood very well what I was trying to do. Your suggestion is very creative and worked like a charm, exactly as I had hoped. It has taken my knowledge of Sony Architect Studio up a notch.
