    I used the “DVD Camcorder Disc” option for importing from a DVD and then following Terry’s advice here: https://forums.creativecow.net/readpost/208/875635
    I managed to get all the clips lined up after each other in the timeline.
    Now, whereas there is no noticeable problem with the video, when going from clip to clip there are very noticeable pops in the audio.
    I would have thought using a crossfade might help but there is no extra audio either side.
    Can anyone please suggest a way round this?

    Yeah, there’s audio dropouts at every chapter marker.

    Here’s a workaround. Use DOS to merge them all into one file. Open a DOS prompt and copy them like…

    copy /b file1.mpg + file2.mpg + file3.mpg + file4.mpg outputfile.mpg
