  Transparency in Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9

  i have been all over the interface in Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 (budget version) and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to make a transparent background and overlays.

  I watched a video on youtube which showed a simple slider in version 8.0, but this doesn’t appear in my version.

  Why would they remove this????? (I sure don’t have it) – such a nice feature

  Your track header size is too small. Go to the right side of your track header until the curser turns into two parrallel lines with an arror each direction and drag the border to the right. The slider will magically appear.

  I tried that making my track header bigger but still nothing came up, it might be because I have platinium? It works for the audio tracks just not the video ones.

  Any suggestions? Thanks.

  Transparency is different in sony vegas 9 than 8

  Put your cursor above the movie timeline right below the actual time and it will say ocapacity 100%

  Drag that slider up and down to adjust
