Live recording files flatline when saved
I actually work a lot in Vegas editing video, but I’ve looked around the site to try and figure out what I’m doing wrong while recording audio.
When I record a live track on Vegas 8 when I’m done and given the prompt to save the event it just flatlines and there’s no sound.
The event is still there as is the saved file, but there’s no sound. While I record I can see the wave forms of the sound which disappear when saving.
Any thoughts? -

Where is your temporary storage for audio? Make sure it has enough space available for storing your file. You can check by looking at your properties.
