mpeg2 editing and rendering question in Vegas Movie Studio 8
My question is in regard to MPEG-2 editing and rendering in Vegas Movie studio 8,
I have captured an 720×480 MPEG-2 compliant stream from my video capture card and edited this in Vegas Movie Studio 8.0. When I render this for subsequent DVD authoring (DVD Architect) there is a noticable loss of quality in the video stream created on the DVD. Is there a technique to successfully edit captured MPEG-2 video on Vegas 8 and then burn this to DVD without degrading the quality? (ie without re-encoding it?) I am using the main concept MPEG-2 encoder as my default output.
