  Ingesting footage from HVR-Z1U

  I seem to be doing well ingesting HD from the camera into Vegas, but on of the VASST instructional videos for the camera suggested we should use a DVI. Do you need tha for Vegas pro 8? Before ai spend 41k, what advantages does it offer? Do you recommend one over the others?
