  • Failing renders are not generating error log file

I am getting render failure at certain points in several projects but a log file never seems to be generated. In fact, at the top of the Render Queue, it says NONE next to log file…is there a setting somewhere to tell it to create log files, that may have gotten “turned off”??

    Yes. See “Render Settings”.

I found this by searching for ‘log setting’.

It only gives you the option to generate them, but does not specify where it places them.

Did you already do a render? Are you looking under the Render Settings heading?

“When a log file has been written, the path to the log file appears under the Render Settings heading and Log menu.”
