  • Hear audio when timeline trimming

I have just started to use vegas after using dps velocity, i like the way in vegas like velocity you can trim clips easily on the timeline. But in velocity when you drag the head or tail of a clip with audio on the timeline, you can hear the audio, this doesn’t seem to happen in vegas, or am i missing something like a check box option? at the moment i rely on the visual waveform display to get in between words etc..

    thanks

I dont believe you can hear the clip while shortening or lengtening it in Vegas, but you can use the scrub tool over the audio track to hear it and hit the m key to make a marker. then drag the video clip edge and it will snap to that marker, asuming you have spapping turned on.
    Hope this helps. Danny Hays
