30 Day Free Trial Bug
hard to believe I haven’t seen this post yet… I downloaded Vegas 9.0a to home PC, used it for a day, and the next day I got a pop-up saying my 30 DAY TRIAL had expired and to use the program I had to buy it. So I bought it, downloaded it again, re-installed, and I keep getting the same pop-up window, with no other choices. So now I’ve bought the program and can’t use it. I don’t get the same problem with DVD Architect or Cinema Score, which I have installed on the same PC. I get the window that gives the option to enter serial# or use the free trial. I tried installing Vegas on my work computer and got to the window that asks for serial # so it seems OK there but I really need to use Vegas on my home PC. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I have never had an issue with a serial but that doesn’t mean problems don’t arise- others have had issues in the past.
Make sure you have set up your account at Sony and go here. You should see what programs you own and the serials listed for each if you bought the software directly from Sony. If you do not see VP 9 in the list, submit a ticket asking for help with a serial that is not being accepted.
Hopefully this will be found helpful and Sony can resolve the issue quickly for you. Let us know how it pans out.
