I’m trying to use the cookie cutter on a still image (jpeg) which I’ve imported onto the timeline. The aim is to have an arrow shape pointing to different parts of the image (it’s actually a piece of music saved as a jpeg file). I used keyframes to achieve this, plus the option in the cookie cutter to display the cut away section. All seemed to be well when I did it initially, but when accessing the file the next day, the arrows I’d successfully placed on the image the night before would only display during the second half of the slide. When shifting the cursor to the left, there’s a point when the arrow shape could be seen to gradually disappear behaind what looks like a top layer in the image. Can anyone tell me what has happened, and how I can proceed successfully? I’d be really grateful for any ideas.

Take another look at your keyframes. Make sure they are how you initially set them up. Scrub through them and see where the issue starts and you may want to delete the keyfram that is there and replace it with a copy of another and place the arrow where you want.

    Hope that helps.
