Hi, I’ve mentioned this kind of continuing keyframe issue…..It seems for an EVENT, you can uniformly change brightness or contrast easily by a single initial keyframe setting, ok. But for Track effects like brightness/contrast and many others, it becomes MUCH more involved. Any adjustment is of course a KEYFRAME setting and the subtle issue is not what you are adjusting at THAT POINT, it’s what VEGAS is doing before and after that point as it connects the dots! Whoa! This seems to have serious continuing ramifications. Even if I use track brightness and contrast (to save myself from voluminous event FX settings), it seems always necessary to have a beginning keyframe and identical ending keyframe for a chosen segment – so vegas does NOTHING inbetween other than keeping the fx settings constant! My God, this is double work, do you see what I am getting at? ALL these effects are keyframe driven! Is there anyway around this when using track effects?
Do YOU run into these issues, what do you recommend?

A “Hold” keyframe won’t gradually change values when going to the next keyframe.

Perfect! Exactly what’s required here. Thanks!
