  adding different events

  I am using VMS8P and HDR-UX5. Am total novice in editing. I have recorded 10 DVD’s on recent holiday. Downloaded first DVD, edited and saved as “dvd 1”. Now want to download second dvd, edit and save as “dvd 2”. How do I then add the second to the first in the project?

  If they’re files on the hard drive, just drag them to the timeline from the Explorer window.

  Did you use the File – Import Camcorder Disc option to import the DVDs? If now, how did you do so?

  Thanks Edward. To import, VMS says “no device found”. I then import from camera through “import software” that came with camera. I then import via project manager from “my documents”.
