    I think I’m asking a similar question as was in the Normalizing Audio thread, but maybe more basic.

    I have several snippets of interviews that will be put in a menu-based format so that if you want to listen to the interview of Joe X you select his name and if you want to hear Jane Y you select hers. What levels should I be reading to make sure that Joe and Jane have the same volume (and then how do I change them)?

    And I take it that if I already have these in DVD Architect, I will have to go back to the original files in Vegas, change them, and then re-render?

    Just make sure they’re both the same in Vegas. Adjust the volumes in Vegas so that when they are playing they’re hitting around the same levels.
