i have footage of a sunset from my camcorder on vegas that is about 10 minutes long. i went to shrink the footage to make a time lapse of the sunset. vegas only allowed me to shrink it to about 2 minutes in length. i shrunk it by holding control and dragging the end of the footage to the left. so my question is, are there limits to how you can shrink footage or how fast you can fast forward? i am new to vegas and the forums, and i thank you in advance for any help and/or advice.

You can get up to 4x by holding down the CTRL key and making the event smaller (which you have done)

You can get up to 3x by applying a velocity envelope.

You can get up to 12x by doing both.

For faster than 12x, render that out and then apply either or both of the above to the newly rendered clip.
