  Terminology Question

  Hi I need to find a definition for a word that means, “Placing points within an audio/video file.” for one of my classes at school. I think that it is “marker” but I am not really sure. If someone could get back to me that would be great.

  A “Marker” in Vegas can certainly be used for that purpose. On a DVD, I would call it a “Chapter point”. For an audio CD, it could be a “Track”.
