cropping quality
Am I imagining it or do you loose a little bit of quality to the clip when you crop it?

I’ve just looked at preview. Have you noticed a difference when it’s rendered?

If you’re looking at “Preview (Auto)” then you will be looking at less quality than you will get when rendering at Best. Change the preview to “Best (Auto)” or, better yet, “Best (Full)” to see the full quality image in preview. However, playback will probably not work well (lots of dropped frames trying to keep up) unless you do a RAM or PRE render.
