As Graham pointed out… Vegas Pro has nothing like this.
You have to appreciate that iMovie has Apple Motion powering it. That is like having After Effects under the covers and is a powerful way of adding very sophisticated motion graphics into an iMovie or Final Cut Pro X project with a simple drag and drop and media replace. Also the whole Theme concept is very powerful because it allows you to quickly see what motion backgrounds, lower thirds, titles, etc., that are all part of the same “theme” and if used together will give your videos a very professional and cohesive look. Finally you can create your own themes in Motion and publish them to iMovie and FCP X with the same drag and drop simplicity. It’s an extremely powerful and productive way of working. Vegas Pro doesn’t even ship with any motion backgrounds or lower thirds. It’s very “minimalist” in this regard.
The closest you will get with Vegas Pro is that Digital Juice has a few Vegas Pro templates that you can replace the media in. These will to work with Vegas Pro but not with Movie Studio. The problem with Digital Juice is that you can’t buy their products outright anymore. You have to subscribe to their service and there probably isn’t enough Vegas Pro projects there to justify the price (they are primarily for Adobe). 🙁

April 18, 2016 at 1:38 pmDigital Juice is the only place you can get professional grade
Vegas Project files and Templates from, they actually have a quite
a good amount of Vegas Projects being offered, but the problem now is
they have gone completely subscription based.
You cant even see what they are offering unless you sign up!Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)

Are you sure? I just visited their web site and under Projects & Templates it only lists: After Effects | Apple Motion | Final Cut Pro X.
They may have dropped support for Vegas Pro templates! (at least that’s what their web site now indicates) so I take back what I said.

How ridiculous is that?
That is the equivalent of having a store with the windows blacked out. It makes absolutely no sense at all.
