Scene Seletion End Action Architect Pro 6.0
On the second menu page (Scene Selection page) I have eleven scenes.
What I would like to set up is, so at the end of the scene the video returns to the scene selection menu and not carry on to the next scene without stopping.
At present the scenes are running on continuously.
Is this something to do with “Set Disc Start”
Goal… At the end of the scene, it goes back to the Scene Selection page where there’s also a link to the main menu.
Incidently my scene events on the scene selection menu were set up using markers from the “play all” button on the menu 1 page.

This requires an entirely different strategy than Scene Selection. The purpose of Scene Selection is to select a starting point from which to continue viewing, That’s not what you want to do.
What you need to do is add the main video to your project 11 times. Don’t worry, DVD Architect is smart enough to only add it to the physical disc once. Then create 11 buttons that point to the 11 copies of your video and set the IN and OUT points to be just that one scene. This will give you the behavior that you are looking for.

You don’t actually have to add the main video 11 times, then add 11 buttons…..
On the scene selection sub-menu, ‘Insert Media’ (the main video). Then copy and paste this button 10 times so you have 11 buttons. Arrange them to fit. Change the text to each reflecting the description of the scene (or you can do this as you go along, or at the end). Double click on a scene button and on the timeline window set the ‘in point’ and ‘out point’ to establish what part of the main video is to be viewed for that scene button. Repeat for each of the remaining scene buttons.
As John states, in the tree display it will appear as if there are 11 copies of the main video, but DVDA only uses one.

Yup, cut and paste works as well after making the first button. Just don’t forget to change the in and out points,
