  Type tool – Pasting text, not attributes

  Some times I want to paste new text into a text layer but I dont want to paste the fill, stroke, color etc.
  Is there a way to just copy/paste font and characters but not the above attributes?

  Or have some place you can copy-paste to and from that will loose the formatting.
  Like a very simple texteditor (BBedit lite for Mac for example)
