  Just a quick question for Vegas 13

  Hello all,
  I have a quick question as I just got Vegas 13. I’m having a problem where when I slice a video and move it on the timeline everything that is behind that cut moves on the timeline. I have used Vegas a few versions back and i never had this problem before. Have I inadvertently put a setting on that snaps all video on a track to the clip being moved. Any help would be appreciated.

  Cntl+L – edit with is off normally, and use it when you need to move the entire timeline. I normally use it with all tracks and events enabled. There is an icon Ripple Edit on the button group of icons in Vegas.

  Sound like you turned on Ripple Edit… turn it off. 😉
