  A problem with a line

  Hey all,

  I’ve made a glowing line to match a human EKG. I wanted to make the line with trapcode particular but i didn’t know how to.

  Anyways, I made the line by making a text “…………………………………..” and with a few effects I combined them to a huge glowing line. I’ve set the EKG mask path with the pen tool and the glowing line follows it correctly and looks nice but (here it comes) I want the line appear from thin air and end up in one as well.

  So basicly when the head hits the end of the path the head vanishes and the body that follows vanishes as it hits the end of the path. The glowing line would get shorter and shorter untill it’s completely gone.

  I hope you understand what I’m trying to tell you.

  PS. I make the line move by adjusting the First Margin value of it.

  You should try using the ‘Vegas’ effect along a path…. much easier!

  Effect:Generate:Vegas

  Pretty sure theres an EKG tutorial somewhere on the ‘Cow too….
