  Rendering to Quicktime 7 problem

  I am delivering a half hour interview piece to a MAC user and read John’s tutorial on setting up a DNxHD template on Vegas. I did it almost exactly as described but had Vegas running whilst I downloaded the codec from the link and installed it.

  I closed Vegas down and re-opened it and found that I was able to create the DNxHD template. However, after that I could not render to Quicktime 7 mov. The option came up but after I clicked on save, there was the usual flicker from the preview screen but then nothing. The render box did not open up and nothing happens.

  My OS is Windows 7 64-bit and I am using Vegas 8. I know that a user has used the DNxHD codec to make mov file son Vegas 7 so I imagine Vegas 8 should not be a problem. I have Quicktime 7.26.14.10 installed.

  Does John or anyone have explanation as to what may be happening and how to fix my problem?
