Screen Glitches?
Hi, I am having a problem for Sony Vegas 13. When I look at the video, it looks fine. But when I open it and preview it from Sony Vegas 13, some points of the video look glitchy or corrupted or something. I tried setting the GPU setting thingy to off, and it didn’t work. HELP!

What codec does the video use? If you don’t know, try using a utility like MediaInfo to figure it out.
It might help if you take a screen capture if your display and post it here so that we can see what you mean by “glitches”.

Okay, the codec is MPEG, which is also the file type I guess.

I’ve never seen Vegas Pro do this with MPEG files. Where did they come from?
Can you post the MediaInfo text?

I made and rendered the video in an animation software

I actually used GSpot instead because my anti-virus software detected a Trojan in the mediainfo download.

Well… however you are creating the file… Vegas Pro doesn’t like it. I would suggest you use the QuickTime Animation codec or an MJPEG AVI file.

Is there any video codec converter out there or something you would recommend? The animation software I have doesn’t allow me to change the codec when being rendered.

What animation software are you using? Any time I get files from an animator I get them to give it to me as a series of images. I then load them into Vegas as an image sequence.
