  • Changing opacity of text drop shadow in Vegas 12

I am wondering if it is possible to adjust the opacity of a drop shadow behind my generated text. Even with Vegasaur, I do not see an option to do this. Is there something I’m not seeing? I would like to add a drop shadow to my text, but I would like for it to be a little more subtle than it is. Increasing the “blur” doesn’t give me the same effect that I’m trying to achieve.

You can use alpha channel to reduce opacity. Look here:

The Title & Text or the Legacy Text Generator? In either of them you
can simply lower the opacity of your shadow same place where you select
the color of the shadow. That checkered slider you see, is it.
