Ive seen a lot of great tutorials about reflections, ive seen some clips where the floor is in black color and it is shining like it is polished and of course u can see the reflections on it… my question is, can this be done on after effects? ive tried a lot of methods but it seems i cant find it… some sugestions are welcome, its that possible to get a tutorial on how to do it? remember… black shiny floor with reflections…

A shining black floor is achieved by simply making a “reflection” of your object – which is just an inverted copy of that object – and reducing the opacity of that reflection a bit. Maybe add a bit of blur. If it is placed on a black background, it will look like it is on a black floor.
