I need to import a png sequence and make a movie in After Effects CS3. When I import a png sequence, it comes in as one still frame. I am confused. Please help!

Click the fist frame in the numbered sequence, and make sure “PNG sequence” is checked in the Import dialog.

You should really check the After Effects Help first for something like this. Open Help and type in “import image sequence” and choose the first result, which should be “Import a single still image or a still-image sequence”. That should answer your question.

I know how to import an image sequence. The problem is that when I do, it imports as ONE FRAME on the timeline. That’s why I am asking here.

Solution: The pngs were not named sequentially for this one file. The others were named properly, and thus worked as they should. Sorry to have wasted anyone’s time, but in making this error, maybe it helps someone else.
