Best fps for video of just one image with backing music
I’m trying to make a really simple but long video which is just one image with a couple of hours worth of music.
The file size is 26gb when it is rendered!!!
I’m guessing it is so large because it’s rendering at 29fps. If it’s only a single still image, then I would have thought that I don’t need 29fps (that’s for motion right?).
Can’t I set it to 1 fps or if not, what would be the best setting to use?

What format are you rendering to? How do plan to play it?

The bit rate affects file size, not fps. For a still picture I’m not sure it makes much difference. But bring the bit rate way down, especially since for a video that’s just a still image you won’t need it high.

How do I lower the bitrate?

It was mp4.
I want to put it on YouTube. -
You change that in your render settings. Go down to “Customize Template” when you open it and you can probably lower it significantly. Maybe try 3 or 4 mbps instead of wherever it is now.

There are several different templates for mp4.
If I’m rendering for YouTube, I use the free Video4YouTube extension from the good folks at Vegasaur.
