I believe Motion Effects are video effects and VST’s are audio effects so one has nothing to do with the other.

January 27, 2015 at 12:00 pmI had problems with NewBlueFX not showing up once. The problem seemed to be caused by having too many different versions of Vegas Pro and Movie Studio Platinum installed on the same machine. I had 32bit & 64bit versions in the mix as well.
Solution:
1. Un-install most older versions of Vegas & MS and only leave the newest 64bit versions of Vegas and Movie Studio installed. Make sure to get rid of 32bit versions if not needed – I think this may have been the actual cause.2. Un-install all NewBlueFx products and re-boot computer.
3. Re-install all NewBlueFx but this time ONLY install the 64bit OpenFX versions. Make sure to deselect all other options that are automatically selected by the NB Installer.
4. Final step if needed was to perform full program reset, to make sure Vegas cache was cleaned and renewed.
Do this to reset:
Turn Vegas Off.
Hold down CONTROL and SHIFT keys at the same time AND ALSO AT THE SAME TIME double click program icon on Desktop to Boot program.
Window will pop up.
Select Delete Cache and Yes.
This will restore program to Factory Default Settings. -
