  iphone5 slow-mo?

  Seems to play a regular speed when dropped onto timeline. But Properties->General (and MediaInfo) say its 120 FPS.
  So, is the trick to slow the playback rate in the event properties?
  Which then, because of the higher framerate, you can slow much more without blurring?

  Yes. Vegas Pro will always play footage at the frame rate of the project. If you want to create slow motion you need to change the playback rate of the event.
